There are two main colors used on any given page: black and silver. Silver is used to separate sections on pages and black is for main body text. Unlike other sites, apple.com uses black as links' color.

These colors are chosen because they are apple's products theme colors. As many of us know, most apple products are silver or black. To match with the products, apple.com uses the main colors in order to keep track of what apple advocates.
