There are three main colors used on any given page: blue, black, and orange.

Black is used as the basic text color. Blue is applied to section title bars to separate content, it is also assigned to texts to indicate they are clickable links. Orange is for head lines and content that need users attention, for instance, buttons (sign up for membership) and hot deals. In addition, orange is the color for links when mouse is over (hover) them.

I think black is the color that most of the Internet sites use for basic text color or other things. Orange is used because it is a good match with blue and it is also a warm color theme which make the whole site look nice. Blue is the basic color for links and it matches with the color orange very well.
