Case Studies Number Three--cnn.com:Content / Typography

The hierarchy of the typography is apparent as blue is used for big headlines and smaller black font is applied to the main body text.

The headlines use a bigger font size and bold fond weight to be more prominent than other font style on the pages. Furthermore, as I mentioned above, headlines are assigned blue and main body text uses black to distinguish each other. Buttons and navigation labels use red as their font or background color.

The labels in the navigation systems are very clear. For instance, if I click on "world", I will enter a page with a big headline saying "world news". In this way, users can easily figure out which general section they are in (by looking at the big headlines).
