Case Studies Number Five--msn.com:Grid / Structure

The structure of the pages does not stay consistent as I go from one page to another. Some pages have three columns page layout, and some have two. Navigation systems change on every page which may confuse users.

Almost all the content on each page change. The only thing stays the same is the "home" label. No matter what navigation systems appear, the "home" link is always in the primary navigation. I think it is important that users can always go back to the home page (go back to the beginning and start again) while they lost themselves in the site.

The first thing I notice on the home page is the primary navigation system. It is the first thing that I see because of its size, position and color. It positions at the top of the page and occupies the most space at top. Furthermore, the primary navigation is a big white banner which attracts users attention very easily.
