Case Studies Number Five--msn.com:Content / Typography

The typography is not apparent as I could not tell which are headlines and which are main body text on the home page. They are assigned the same color and similar font size. I would use a different color and font size for big headlines and black for main body text. Links will be either blue or dark blue to distinguish from other elements on the page.

The technique that were used to make headlines more prominent than others is font weight. Most of the headlines are in bold font and a little bigger size than the main body text.

The labels in the navigation systems are very clear. For instance, if I click the link "careers & jobs", it will bring me to the section where the big headlines says "Careers & Jobs" and its related pages.
