The theme color of the site is green, red and white. White is used on links and as main body background color. Red is applied as the background color of the page and green is the color of Starbucks' logo.
Red is chose because it is almost Christmas time and Christmas theme colors are usually green and red. Since Starbucks' logo is green, red is used for the background in order to indicate to customers that Christmas is coming soon. White is one of the main colors because of visual convenience for users. If instead of white, designers use black or blue, it will be really hard to see things (labels, links and so forth).
