Case Studies--Newegg.com::Grid / Structure

The page structure stays consistently on each page. Page layout only changes when different types of pages are visited. For example, when users go from home page to a specific product, the page structure changes to display appropriate product information and customers' review. Other related products are also showed at the bottom of each product page in.
Although page structure vary according to page types, it stays consistent in its own page type. The one thing that always stay the same no matter which page I go to is the primary navigation bar and the top logo with the search bar. I think these three things must keep consistent because even if I am lost somewhere when I am browsing products, I can still click the top logo to go back to the home page. If I want, I can start a search without trying to figure out where the search bar is (it is right underneath the logo!). This is a really convenient design for users who don't know computer or the Internet very much.
The first thing I notice on any page of newegg.com is its logo and it tells me that I am still in the site. I see the logo because of its color and size. I extremely like the logo's color since it matches the whole theme of the site.
