Four main colors are used on almost every page on ebay.com. They are chosen because the ebay's logo is consisted of these four colors(light yellow, blue, red and yellow green).

Yellow is applied in dividing different sections of pages. For instance, see below image.







Blue is the color for body text and red is for making contents stand out in order to catch users' attention.
















Yellow green is used on the home page as products' slide show and some other advertisement background color, but you can seldom found it in other pages on ebay.
