Case Studies Number Four--amazon.com:Grid/ Structure

The structure of the pages stay the same as I go from one page to another(The grid stays three column layout no matter which page I visit).

The main body content changes as I go to different sections. However, the primary navigation stays consistent on every page in the site. I think the primary navigation system needs to stay unchanged because its content is required to be consistent in order to guide users to different sections in the site. However, contents of different pages may change since different sections have different content to show to users. For instance, electric section shows electronic products and garden section has products that are related to gardening.

The fist thing I notice from the site is its logo because of its size, color and position. The logo has a big black bold font with a orange color to balance the whole thing which attract me immediately.
