Case Studies--Newegg.com::Architecture

By looking at newegg.com's site map, I can tell that there are a lot pages in the site. Since it is an online shop where people buy computer related products, it is reasonable to have many pages (one product per page may be).
Under most circumstances, the primary navigation bar does not appear. However, when I visit specific pages such as "electronics", two side bars appear on the page. In some way, I think it is a good thing. These two side bars provide information that is necessary for users to know about electronics products. They also enable users to see some reviews about products and other categories that go under the name "electronics".
